Recently, choosing an airline has become increasingly easy for me not only because there is a Southwest airline flying to that place but because the slew of different things that I like with Southwest makes it such a easy choice for me even if I have to shell out a few more dollars.
I recently had a query to make with them and called their 800 number. Sure enough, I was impressed with the system they have in place. Since there was going to be a wait the automated system offered to call me when it was my turn which means that I would not have to wait with my phone on mute and with the speaker on to make sure that I don't lose my spot in the queue. The system called me back in 5 minutes and I was directed to an agent right away. IMPRESSED!
This airline does not cease to surprise me with how they can do what other airline wont even try
1. They have a simple and easy to use system for online reservation
2. They allow me to check in 2 bags for free
3. There are no seat numbers allocated which means the sooner you make your reservation and the sooner you get to the airport, better will be your seat
4. Their on board staff is energetic and friendly to say the least
5. Their customer service(phone) is really cool.
Of course they have a rewards program..which means that I am likely to be flying with them for a long time now...likes!
